University of Cambridge finishes top of 2019 Times and Sunday Times University Guide

The Oxbridge pair of Oxford and Cambridge have been crowned the best two universities in the world by Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2019.

The University of Oxford was named the best university in the world for the third consecutive year, with a massive 98 UK universities ranked in the 1258 strong list. The University of Cambridge finished runner up for the second year in a row, while Imperial College London, University College London, London School of Economics and Political Science and the University of Edinburgh all finished in the top 30.
