23 UK universities join Student Visa pilot scheme

A pilot scheme which streamlines the visa process for international Masters students has been extended to a further 23 universities by the UK government.

The service, which makes the process of studying a Masters of 13 months or less easier for international students, also provides greater support for students who wish to switch to a work visa and take up a graduate role by allowing them to remain in the UK for 6 months after they have finished their course.

The new programme is designed to prepare students for entry to Year 2 of a range of undergraduate degrees in International Development at UEA. The course will build students’ subject knowledge while continuing to improve their English language skills and it is a unique opportunity to study one module per semester alongside other UEA students.
